Tester Agreement & Payment Terms

This Agreement applies if your EyesOnDeck account has been approved as a tester by Skylab Studio LLC. It sits alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there's a conflict on tester-specific matters, this Agreement wins.

You are an independent contractor. Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between you and Skylab Studio LLC. You choose which tests to accept and set your own schedule.

• Only accept tests you're actually qualified for (device, browser, demographic, etc.).
• Provide honest, first-hand feedback based on your genuine experience.
• Do not submit AI-generated, copied, or fabricated responses.
• Complete tests within the deadline stated in the campaign brief.
• Keep confidential any pre-release product, unreleased features, or non-public information you see.
• Do not record identifiable third parties or share test content publicly.

• Payouts and payout methods are subject to approval and may not be available at launch.
• You are paid per approved submission at the rate shown in the campaign brief.
• Submissions that are incomplete, low-effort, off-brief, or fraudulent may be rejected and are not paid.
• We may withhold payment while investigating suspected fraud or account-sharing.
• Minimum payout thresholds and processing times will be disclosed in-app before you request a payout.

You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes owed on payouts you receive. Where required by law, we (or our payment processor) may collect tax forms (for example, IRS Form W-9 or W-8) and issue tax statements (for example, Form 1099) once payment thresholds are met.

You keep ownership of the feedback, videos, screenshots, and written responses you submit. You grant Skylab Studio LLC and the company that requested the test a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, reproduce, and use your submissions for the purposes of running the test, improving the company's product, and internal analysis. You waive the right to be paid additional royalties for that use.

Approval as a tester does not guarantee that campaigns matching your profile will be available, or any specific level of earnings.

You may deactivate your tester account at any time. We may suspend or revoke tester approval for violation of this Agreement, the Terms of Service, or suspected fraud. Payouts already earned for approved submissions will still be paid out subject to normal fraud checks.
